End of an Era
So, today I did something that Kevin and I have talked about, but was a big move. I put in my resignation at DFCS. There are multiple reasons for it. One is that with our car situation, I can't have a job 70 miles from home, it's just not working. Another is I can't handle the 12 and 13 hour days that the job creates. I'm also not into it anymore. The stress of it outweighs the good. We are given a job that we don't have the resources to accomplish. Some people can work in those situations. I can't. I'm also newly married and would like to spend at least a
little bit of time with my new husband. I'll probably find some part time work for the time being and we'll scrape by for the winter. I'll keep everyone posted on the job front.
I know the quitting of the job seems rather rash, but I have a feeling it's for the best. It's what my gut says, and I like to trust my gut. Besides, it was getting to the point that I was starting to not do a good job, and that means it was time to go. So, now it's time to figure out what's next!
